Adventures in the daily

This morning I was inspired to get out of the mundane . . . . all that took was a little fort building.
The kids watched in anticipation as I piled blankets next to our kitchen table.  What was mom up to?
Then, as they realized what they were for, smiles and excitement began to bubble over.  Isn't it amazing how something so small can breathe life back into the imagination.  

Bailey still had his sign ( see HERE if you missed it before ).  It made the perfect addition to their new fort.

Forts are great for doing school in

and for building with blocks.

Forts are also good for sleepovers :)
The kids are very excited about sleeping in it tonight ( minus Hadassah ).

    It felt so good today to do something just for fun.  The last couple weeks we have been so busy I haven't really purposed to do something the kids would enjoy, something that would be an adventure to them.  Thank you, God, for letting me see the fun in our day today.

A sleepover is so much more fun with a movie.
