Hello again!

Hello! It has been such a long time. Nine Years!

The kids and I stumbled across my blog today.  It brought so many memories back. I have heard it said that "The days are long, but the years are short".

That is so true when it comes to motherhood.

Stephen and I can hardly believe we have three grown children.

Since my last post, our family has grown by four, with one of them already in heaven.

Caleb and Kadin are off on new adventures, both serving in the military.
Bailey is in college, and Bella is a junior in high school . . .

When I look at this blog, it feels like it was yesterday that they were all little.
Wasn't it yesterday that I was juggling littles' schoolwork, refereeing squabbles, juggling littles' needs . . . . . . . . .
Actually it was 😂 because I still have a houseful of littles.

But it feels different in this stage of life.

Seasons change.

I have grown children to stay connected with, big teens that are preparing to fly, and littles that still crawl into my bed every night.

I wouldn't trade it for anything.

My heart is filled with thankfulness to God for the life He has given me.

Puppet shows

We love to color!
Lately,  it is a daily activity.
For our road trip I bought each of the kids a clipboard to hold their pictures and it worked so well.
Our favorite place to print coloring pages off is www.999coloringpages.com.

Some more of Isabella's artwork - her with big brother Caleb defending her.

Our Idaho Trip 2013 - part 1

We got to visit Grandma Twinkles and Grandpa!!
It was a quick trip - only 6 days with 2 of those driving - but so worth it.

Gabric was such a trooper and maybe fussed 20 minutes of the 15 hours there.
The van was great.  I couldn't believe the difference.
I could even go sit in the back in the middle of the kids to read to them and play with them.

We listened to Lamplighter books on audio ( I am a huge fan).
Some from this trip -
Teddy's Button
Charlie's Choice
The Boy of Mount Rhigi
Hedge of Thorns

A Quick stop at Little America for Ice Cream

We finally arrived!

The time flew while we were there.  We crammed in ~ snuggles and walks, fountains and frisbee, mama/daughter dates and farmers markets.
We celebrated my mama's 60th birthday :D with cheesecake that she made for Stephen.

Notice how much Gabric loved the water - look at that face

Grandpa and Grandma  - we miss you already!

Only two of their grand babies missing - My sister's little ones.
