Jump for Joy

About a month ago our old round trampoline got mangled in a wind storm and my husband was so happy. :D
It was just the excuse he needed to get the trampoline he has wanted for forever.
We are now the proud owners of a 17' x 10' trampoline.
Stephen is actually  out there everyday doing back flips.
It somehow loosens up his shoulder and back and helps with his chronic pain and it is just a whole lot of fun ;)

My wonderful husband was very patient with me and put up a net.  They are not his favorite and we didn't have one on our last trampoline.  It makes visitors much more comfortable with letting there kids play on it and our littles cause me less worry.

So far we have had a 10 person pillow fight on it . . .

Welcome!

I thought I would share a little of our home . . .
I don't know about you but it always feels to me like you get to know someone a little better after you have seen their home-
So today is a little of our upstairs living room

 

Aren't these flowers beautiful! I have wanted orchids for so long!
Vanessa bought me some orchids right before her wedding and I loved them.  Then they died when we moved :(
So on Mother's Day I bought myself Orchids ;)
In all honesty I thought it would be the only thing I received and I was ok with that.
Then my oldest son ( Caleb) surprised me with a special holster for my XD which was awesome.

 

On the left I have one basket for toys and one basket for books.
My newest realization is that I should invest in books that I like to read again and again and again . .
So I have been slowly buying my favorite children books for our basket.
I will have to post some of my favorites later.

Our Garden
Ok so I am over a week behind in my garden pictures but I thought I should post the pictures in stages.
We were trying to find something fun for the peas to grow up and found this section of fencing at Walmart.  Today the peas are almost reaching the top :O

Guess who got a new car?

Yep, we did!  Stephen and I are so excited about having more room; the kids are just excited it has a tv in it (how extravagant :)
I have had to have Stephen come and pick up our groceries with the truck when we shop because while we have room for people in our suburban we do not have room for anything else.
This feels much less claustrophobic.
It has 13 seats AND storage room :)
It is in near perfect condition and we were able to get a great deal on it by paying in cash.

Guess what I got in the mail?!

I ordered my blog from Blog2Print in book format. ~WOW~
I love it.
I ordered the hardcover and because I did two whole years in one book it is super long.

The kids love reading it and I love having a scrapbook/journal for us to share our memories.  

It is also good motivation to start blogging more consistently.  Reading it with the kids has helped us remember so much of God's abundant blessings.
