This morning after breakfast I heard Caleb in the kitchen with Titus. When I came downstairs he was teaching him how to do dishes. Titus was enthralled - as much with having his brothers undivided attention as with how to clean. After they were done Caleb brought him upstairs and got them both clothes. He took Titus in to the bathroom and showered him and then worked on dressing him. I sat back watching them be so cute. Then Caleb called from the other room, distress in his voice - "Mom I can not get him to stay still to get his pants on." I called back I would be there in a minute.
A second later, in the same distressed voice, Caleb called out, " putting pants on Titus is like eating honey on ice cream and calling it good!" :-D
Later he told me he was "Papa training":)
Then a little while later Isabella was cleaning the shoe closet- which is her job. I checked on her work and told her what a great job she did. She looked at me in all seriousness and said " That is why God made me, if He didn't make me you would have a very nasty shoe closet."
My kids can sure make me smile!
