Pregnancy Brain

I often jot down here the things that bring a chuckle to me from the kids.  The little things they say that make me smile.  They are not the only ones that have silly moments though.  It only seems fair to have a good laugh at myself.  You see when I am pregnant - especially in the first trimester  . . .hm . and the second . and . . the third . . and well there is the lack of sleep after the baby is born . . . I tend to get "pregnancy brain"  and do some really silly things.  I go around in a little bit of a fog.  Like today for instance ~ I took Bailey to his speech therapy appointment and as soon as we got there he told me he needed to use the restroom.  I thought - not a problem, we are early anyway.  I took him down the office hallways, found the bathrooms, looked down at him, thought he is a boy and . . .walked right into the men's restroom.     Ahem.  Yes, I did, first time that has happened.  Thankfully no one was there.  I stood there for a split second registering that something was not right, took a step back out and looked at the door.  "OH I am not supposed to be in here."  Bailey got a good laugh out of it though.
How many more weeks do I have until my brain returns?  :D

Is Deborah pregnant? Or is she giving clues about Courtney being pregnant?

And Grace, pregnancy brain is profoundly acute during the stages of child-rearing associated with sleepless nights, early mornings, long days, more laundry than you can keep up with, questions you try not to laugh at and certainly can't answer, not to mention a certain amount of running, crying, hysterics of one kind or other (either you OR the kids) and headaches. Sometimes all. Other times all at once.

It's very likely you HAVE pregnancy brain if these symptoms sound familiar.

I sure love you ladies, and miss you dreadfully!
